The exhibition « Paris d’Hier » takes place from July 14th to September 2nd 2018 at the MR80 Gallery, 80 Rue de Turenne.
Shown together for the first time exclusively during the Parisian summer season, discover a selection of 30 photographs both in black and white and in colour, retracing a transitioning period of the French capital from post WW2 to the 70’s.
Inaugurate July 14th, a French national holiday, Melissa Regan Agency unveils a Paris of the past: a period of political, economical, social and urban transition.
This summer, this exhibition will will contribute to the animation and livelihood of the historical district of Le Marais, an attraction for both tourists and locals. Exhibitions, pop up stores, markets, this neighborhood turns into a summer sublimity where people can walk around and stay entertained.
Dive into the history of the post war Parisian transition era presented at the MR80 Gallery and brought to you by MR Agency, free-entry Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm. The exhibition displays phots taken by photographers such as R. Berson, Y. Chevalier or J. Niepce, along with a video and a selected merchandising from the French lifestyle brand « Commune de Paris 1871 ».
