This fall, as kids make it back to school and everyone back to the office, physical Parisians events are progressively taking place, especially in decoration retail, art and in the fashion industry. The MR Agency is happy to take part in this revival through expositions and events throughout September.
This period begins with many events, particularly Maison & Objet and Paris Design Week, both around the same theme of « Desirable Development ». A subject that requires us to think about the world of tomorrow and our habits.
The international fair Maison & Objet at the exhibition hall Paris-Nord Villepinte, will take place from September 9 to 13 September for the first time in physical since the Covid Crisis. You will see more that 3 000 French and International exhibitors. This event, only for professionals, explore the universe of the home decoration, tableware but also accessories and textiles, showing the latest trends and retail innovations. Conferences, workshops and debates would be taking place throughout the 5 days.
During Maison & Objet, and also organized by Safi, Paris Design Week will take place from 9th to 18th, in four major districts of Parisian design (Pigalle – Barbes – Stalingrad ; Opéra – Concorde – Etoile ; Palais Royal – Marais – Bastille et Rive Gauche) where you will discover exhibitions of both established and emerging designers. More than 350 locations will be open to the public. The event is organized around 8 thematic walks that allowing you to discover all the design in a multidisciplinary approach.
At MR80 gallery, located at 80 rue de Turenne, both Harmony Textile and artist Stephanie Langard will hold events.
Harmony is a French brand know for its high-end household linens. This manufacturer uses pure and luxurious textiles for create hight quality and modern product by combining colors and textures. If you are a market professional, don’t miss the showroom from September 6th to 12th.
Stephanie Langard, know for her many talents as a designer, a plastician, an interior architect and an artistic director, will present a solo show « Bodies » from September 16th-19th, « time, the balance between life and death, between opposition and complementarities » are common themes in her work. Don’t hesitate to admire her latest pieces during Paris Design Week, presented by l’Agence DS.
Parisian Pop-Ups will mark this mid-September, as the one of Boum by Bonheur Permanent at MR80 from the 24th to the 26th. The dynamic studio organizes many artistic projects around several themes. The pop-up will include fashion, modern decoration, and also photography. The September Pop-Up titled “Expo Vue Mer”, will immerse us in a marine environment taking us back on vacation.

September 2021 will also be marked by many artistic events.
Art Paris, which usually takes place in April, rescheduled from September 9th to 12th, will take place at the temporary Grand Palais. This event will involve over 140 modern and contemporary art galleries. In total, artists from 19 different countries will exhibit their works. We will find those of Caroline Denervaud, Jean-Luc Blanc or the works of Lorenzo Mattotti for a unique and surprising artistic mix inviting to the discovery. During the show, 20 “Solo Shows” will highlight the work of modern, contemporary and emerging artists. In particular, there will be a selection of Polaroids and black and white photographs by Andy Warhol (at the Galerie Italienne).
Then from September 20th to 21th at MR80, the exhibition of David Djiango, French painter inspired by Neo-Impressionism, Pointillism and Pixel Art. The artist, using metal, steel, aluminum and gold leaf in addition to oils and acrylics, bring his portraits to life, reversing the roles. It is no longer the painting, but the viewer who is observed, encouraging him to question the ephemeral aspect of life and the place of the person in society. An exhibition is not to be missed.
The month of September will close with the Women’s Fashion Week, still atypical this year and impacted by the Covid crisis. This will not stop many European brands presenting their collections during showrooms, events and fashion shows from 27th September to 5th October. European buyers, celebrities and influencers will be there for this fashion event. The MR Agencys new location, Pavillon Rive Gauche in Saint-Germain, will be a destination, giving way to the most creative scenography with 420m2.
… And not to forget the professional trainings and press days dinners throughout the month. This fall, events are back with the « pass sanitaire ».
