Springtime in Paris

2024 April

Paris is always a good idea, but even in the City of Lights, each season brings a new set of activities that aren’t the same when the weather is incorrect. We have been cozy and drinking many hot beverages this winter to stay warm, but spring has officially sprung, and so have we! Dive into some of our favorite seasonal activities and discover a Parisien spring, an experience you won’t want to miss.

Must see

  • Cherry Blossoms : On Spring’s sunniest days, enjoy the hallmark of this season and take a tour around Paris to see the many cherry blossoms in the parks. Some of these gardens include the Trocadero Gardens across from the Eiffel Tower or surrounding it. Champs de Mars features expansive grassy areas for picnics and cherry blossom trees that bloom from March to April. Live out your springtime iParis dreams with these magical walks.

  • Art Lovers Paradise : Don’t overlook one of the season’s highlights: the 20th national edition of the European Night of the Museums, set to take place on May 18, 2024. This event offers free entry to the finest exhibitions across the city, promising a distinctive program every year. Attendees can look forward to a captivating blend of art displays, talks, film viewings, and live performances. With over 1,800 museums participating, including renowned venues like the Louvre, the Arab World Institute, and the Musée d’Orsay, visitors can anticipate many delightful surprises and experiences

Must Do

  • Sunny Romantic Walks: Take one of the most classic walks in Paris and descend the steps to the lower walkway of the Seine, where cars are forbidden. Walk points can be found anywhere along the river, and when you’re done walking, ascend by the Louvre and pick the cutest cafe to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset.

  • PAD Fairs : Created in 1998, PAD is the first design fair in the world and will be celebrating its 26th annual event. From April 3rd to 7th, this event brings together the best of international and French galleries to showcase the old and new.

  • Family Fun: Active from March 22nd, 2024, to April 21st, 2024,  Foire du Trone is arriving in Paris ahead of schedule to make room for the Summer Olympic Games. France’s largest and Europe’s oldest, this fair is not to be missed and offers its 60th annual event complete with rides, games, and sweet treats. There is something here for those of all ages, and it will be running from noon to 11 pm Mondays through Thursdays and Sundays and noon to 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • Upcoming Events : Paris Blockchain Week is coming soon, from April 9th to 11th, for those technology lovers. This fantastic week will be dedicated to discussions about AI, crypto, and many other things, bringing the best in the field.

Must Eat

  • Sweet Easter Treats: Spring is the hallmark of many events and holidays, and Easter is widely celebrated throughout France. As part of this tradition, many chocolatiers will participate in creating artisan spring and Easter-inspired treats for the public to enjoy. For chocolate lovers seeking a luxury experience, we highly recommend the Austrian chocolate shop and tea room, Angelina, created by Antoine Rumpelmayer in 1903. Located on rue de Rivoli, this elegant chocolate shop will surely indulge your palate and fill the air with sweet aromas of chocolate on a sunny Spring day.

Spring has officially sprung, and we encourage you to join us in exploring all Paris offers in this beautiful season. There is a taste of everything for everyone, only affirming that Paris really is always a good idea.
