THE MR AGENCY CALL TO CULTURE

Parisian culture life radically shut down anew with the announcement of the second lockdown October 29th, 2020. While museums, cinemas and theatres remain closed, Parisians can still access certain cultural expressions via private exhibitions.

In order to support the Parisian cultural scene, The MR Agency launched a call to project for emerging artists to submit their work and get a chance to organize a three day solo exhibition at the MR80 Galerie, located in the heart of cultural Le Marais.

This October kicks off with Nuit Blanche, an annual Parisian night dedicated to contemporary art in the streets, followed by major exhibitions that are open all night long. The Professional Committee of Art Galleries enabled 200 member galleries to open and hold their events to affirm the capital's resilience and the solidarity of the art scene October 3rd.

Despite the world being is under global tension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, on September 21st the French fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode published the official calendar with the list of physical shows for Women Spring Summer 2021 Collectinos. This Paris Fashion Week will kick off on Monday, September 28 with Mame Kurogouchi, a promising name in Japanese fashion, and will end, as usual, on Tuesday, October 6 with Louis Vuitton.

Four time a year, the French capital becomes a Mecca for the fashion industry. But this year, fashion week is in the middle of a nation wide strike also affecting Paris.  With fashion week approaching, how to be best prepared in light of the French strikes?
It’s possible to have « black days » during the Paris strike, which means days when Parisian  transportation is stopped. January 16 is currently planned to be a dark day in Paris, therefore we advise you try to organise your deliveries early in the morning or the day before.
